Just seen he may be for graps on the BBC gossip column and is probably a load of BS.

However if Chelski do want to sell I would love to see him at SJP.

I think he's 24/25 and i think he would be a great addition to the squad

    Overall career totals
    Apps As sub Goals
    Total (Club) 293 (100) 91
    League 200 (60) 66
    FA Cup 24 (11) 8
    League Cup 16 (6) 7
    European/Others 53 (23) 10

    Thoughts please

Will demand 80k per week so no. Good player though.

I'd take him, especially with Gervinho up front ;)

Though we'd do well to convince him, maybe Cheik can help. Also we would lose all 3 whenever the African Cup Of Nations was played.

If he is willing to take a pay cut, then he'd be a great addition to our squad.

Am I right in thinking he can can play up front, on the wing and AM (don't watch Chelsea much)

If so, he would be an excellent signing.

Chelsea probs wouldn't sell tho, and even if they do, someone will over them/him more...

Never seen him at AM but he often plays on the wing with the 4-3-3 they deploy.

I trhink we all know that MA has a wage cap that will stop the better class players from coming to us.

It would be class BUT if we do get Gervinho, I'd avoid getting another African...ACN would obliterate our first team!

Maybe he will be willing to relent a little bit if Tiote and Kalou each offer him a Greggs sausage roll every week...

I don't like Kalou. You see him score some good goals and he plays well in patches but more often than not you end up wondering how on earth did he miss that?

Wouldn't mind, although I've never been a big fan of him.. can be inconsistent and will demand hefty wages.

Would be nice, if his wages weren't something stupid. But we would lose a few players every African Cup of nations, so would have to have cover just as good.

Good player and would take him, but would surely want too much wages

He is playing for Chelsea and probably earning at least £75,000 per week. There is no way Ashley would match it and Kalou would not take a wage cut.

Would be fantastic. But tbh I have to agree with the previous posts.

    1. Wages will be too high
    2. The African cup would ruin us
    3. It' probably just media nonsense

As I said though, would be fantastic!

If only Chelsea signed Carroll for 25million plus Kalou instead of getting Torres, they would have got much better value for money.
