Can someone please explain to me why we bought saivet and loaned doumbia.

Niether of which have really featured since signing. I honestly don't understand why we loaned doumbia for him to never play. It makes no sense at all.

And if I recall we spent best part of £6 million on saivet and he can't get anywhere near the starting 11.

A special mention goes to de Jong in this aswell. He never seems to get a first team start. He can't be unfit all the time surely.

Just to ensure we didn't waste any money on defenders

Im Not sure he should tbh, I dont want two DM's I'd be happier with 2 strikers. Shelvey is capable of protecting the back 4 let him do that and the defenders defend and pin teams back

In the few glimpses we have seen of Saivet he looked calm and just played the sensible pass, tidied things up etc. Nothing spectacular, which is l would have thought preferable to Colback who chases around after the ball like a school boy.
That said if he is not getting starts or even sub appearances, there must be a reason. I guess he isn't impressing in training or something. Seems as you say a travesty to buy a player for that kind of money who can't get into this shower of sh1t.

Benitez has just tried to opt for PL experience since arriving. I would sincerely hope that the likes of Tiote, Cisse, Sissoko and Anita's displays at Carrow Road has highlighted the reasons why we're 2nd bottom and why these useless fckers have PL experience and little else to offer.

As said elsewhere, Tiote and Anita should not be near the first team. Cisse purely as a fourth choice CF option (assuming Doumbia is really that bad). Sissoko should also make way even if just to attempt something new. I mean, what does he bring to the party?

Saivet looked like our best DM the one time he got a decent run out. He carried a decent enough reputation in France and I can't see why he isn't deployed as DM, or even on the right side (he once played as a winger, I believe, surely RB isn't a big step up?)

Benitez must see something, but that's now manager number 4 who sees something on a training pitch that just doesn't appear on matchday.

Didn't we sign Doumbia because he's ****ing well old and serves the diversity quota?

Fans should really begin to understand the concept of 'Buy One Get One Free', fundamental to the ethos of Mike Ashley.
Purchase Saivet and get Doumbia thrown in for free in a vain attempt to satisfy the thirst for new faces.
Neither were ever going to play a part in the rush to relegation or then again maybe Rafa is holding both back as Secret Weapons over the coming games.
