In the spirit of the transfer window, well, the title says it all.

Nobody is allowed to say Ali Dia.

I'm going to go for Ulrich van Gobbel. Terrible, terrible player.

Hmmm tricky. Tempted to say Forte but his two goals against MK Dons saves him. Delgado was a massive flop.

    Forren deserves a mention.

Recently it's got to be Forren. He did absolutely nothing for us? Not necessarily a bad player but surely a bad, bad signing.

That's Ali Dia. He's probably the real answer and was almost certainly the worst player we've ever had but in fairness he was a free transfer and was on a very short term contract so the financial cost was minimal.

Uli made me laugh at the very least and scared the bejeezus out of Cantona. Considering price etc, has to be Forren.

So Tommy Forecast gets over looked..? He'd be disappointed, I'm sure.

Tommy Forecast, surely? Due to today's developments, we've effectively paid €25M for his services

Its surely got to be Tommy Forecast? Signed on a 5 or was it 6 year contract from Spurs and didn't get any where near the first team.

Probably Forecast considering he never played, coupled with the sell on fee for Bale we waivered to get him.
    Or....
Neil McCann. He should have been good but well........ wasn't.

Delgado was always a gamble- I still reckon he could have been a great signing if he had got over his injuries properly and settled in to the team. Forecast was never really going anywhere so that was just a terrible bit of business all round.

It has to be Forren - £4m and didn't kick a ball for the first team.

Delgado was defintely a player, but a pain in the arse all the same and a waste, but less money, scored a couple and played some games.

Sorry Vegard but you are Ali Dia's only rival really.

    Other pretty rubbish purchases:
    Lee Molyneux
    Jelle Van Damme
    Marco Almeida
Micky Evans definitely had one of the worst haircuts.
Peter Reid - he was about 60 when we signed him.
John Beresford, well over the hill.
Barry Vennison - well over the hill.

Oh my lordy. You had to, didn't you. There I was, having an inward giggle at this thread and then someone writes Neil McCann. If there's players that make you miserable it's ones where you've had reasonable expectations about and then they turn out to be utter garbage. Then he went off and played reasonably well elsewhere, the git.
