Well some-one had to do one!

Whole club is on a massive high after yesterday and the Boruc signing. So who do we field on Tuesday night? Give all the youngsters a run or ............

Personally I'd like to see Mayuka get a full 90. He has looked very pacey. Also be good to see Chappers get a game.

Who starts in goal KD or Gazza?

Have to be honest I'm not too worried about the result. Who's going? Can't see there beiing many more than around15k for this one.

    ----------------Boruc-----------------------
    Butterfield - Stephens - Seaborne - Shaw
    ---------------Cork---JWP------------------
    -Mayuka----------Guly----------lee-----
    ---------------Rodriguez-------------------

with Chaplow, Reeves and Chambers to come on as subs, if Jos is fit put him at CB and Stephens at RB

I want to see some more of chambers and the up and coming youngsters, should be a good match. 3-2 saints

Pretty much this don't risk anyone. I'd even hesitate with Mayuka, Jayrod and JWP, who are all relatively likely to appear against Everton. Will be interesting to see how highly adkins rates cork and if he'll come straight back into the first team?

Hi there Thatthere. Think players like Mayuka need more than 10 -15 mins. Keen to see what he can do!

Pretty much this but Hooiveld in for Stephens. Rodriguez needs game time so I expect him to start. And I think Gazza will start in goal.

Why are we playing Wednesday on a Tuesday, very confusing. I wonder if Chung is ready for action?

Yes a front line of JRod Lee and Mayuka would be very interesting.

Wednesday aren't a bad side and while we can rest some names, we need to take this seriously if we're going to progress. I think it's important for us to run the new guys in. The league cup isn't that important for either side and it's unlikely that tackles will start flying.

I think Ramirez will be on the bench. Don't want him injured in a League Cup game. Bring him on only if needed.

Fair enough would be nice to see him build up some confidence against a lower league side, although I wouldn't give two hoots if we went out.

Winning breads confidence so this game is very important and these cup games keep the squad players involved and match fit for when they are called upon for first team duty in the Prem

I don't think Boruc will play quite yet. So it will be either Davis or Gazzaniga in goal. I think Rodriguez and Seabourne will start, however most of the team is a complete guess.

Good to see we have moved up a place in the table with Newcastle scoring against Norwich :).

I agree with above, I doubt Boruc will be ready and i would stick with Gazza and i agree with a front 3 of Mayuka, who i thought looked promising on saturday, Rodiguez and Lee. Cork needs some competitive game time too. My team would be.

    Gazza
    Frazier Butterfield Seabourne Shaw
    Chaplow Cork
    Mayuka Guly Lee
    Rodriguez

Subs: Davis Fonte Fox De Ridder/Puncheon Hoskins Sinclair JWP

That team should get us through, no point risking Lambert Lallana Ramirez keep them fresh for Everton. Hopefully Hoskins and Sinclair might feature later on.

That shows what a good squad we now have. Especially when you consider we let both Barnard and Sharp leave.
