Yep, we have to remember that children are the future and adult fans who have supported the club all their life are there to squeeze as much cash out of as possible.
Safe to say very few people will be attending, who on earth is going to pay near 20 quid for a pre season game!
But we are all rich in this part of the country. Perhaps our new ex-chelsea fans from Surrey will swell the attendance?
Maybe don't have the 5 pints before the game and spend that money on a ticket. Added bonus of being able to remember the game too.... .....but yes, still is a little steep.
I'll probably be going to this game regardless of the ticket price...at least the Northampton Massive will all be able to go because I think tickets will be like rockin horse droppings again this season with all the excitement about the new signings etc
What a moaning load of miserable old blighters. Nicola has been working hard spending bucket loads of cash on a great new team and you all whinge about a few quid for a ticket to see our boys and Real Sociadad. I know two old age pensioners who will go without their meals on wheels that week so that they can afford the tickets. The very lovely Mrs Godders and I will cheer our boys on despite our rumbling stomachs. Nicola works hard, MOPO works hard, the whole squad work hard but half the buggers on this thread can't be arsed to get up out of their sun loungers and cheer on the team they are "supposed" to support. I'd take a Skate any day to some of you miserable lot.
It's a shame don't take friendliest seriously, Iwent to the Ajax game last summer and the players gave it their best and it was a pretty good game but the rather pathetic crowd was embarrassingly small and were there for a day in the sun! Come on let's support the guys and the club This will be our new players first experience of SMS so let's show them our support and welcome them to our club
Agree. Yes its expensive for a friendly but £18 lets you see the finished article of the pre-season. It will be exciting to see the new players and how the team performs after a whole pre-season under Poch. Would love to go, does anyone want to cover my on call?!
Last game for MP before the beginning of season, pretty sure we will see his first choice team for at least the first half, so hopefully does not have that normal friendly feel. I watched the Man City game the other day and I pity those that paid to watch that dross.
