Saints U18's beat Man Utd in a six goal thriller. Goals by Flannigan McQueen Seagar and Gallagher. Watch it on MUTV.

Didn't think we would win as we are doing average in the second phase of the u18's league, we are now top but some teams below us have 3 games in hand and only 2points behind.

I should imagine they'll all be on Saints Player.

Barry, Southampton on text: "Performance of the day already: Southampton u18 beating Man Utd 4-2! Shows why the Saints academy setup continues to produce great players."

Come on confess, who texted the BBC? I don't think it was Barry Sanchez! <laugh>

    Haha, probably not.

I watched most of the game on a stream and it was quite bizarre how after we scored the first, they immediately scored, then when they scored to make it 2-2 we immediately scored. They say you're most vulnerable when you've just scored, well, that must be especially applicable to youth games, I've never seen anything like it.

McQueen has a bit of an air of Lambert about him, surprised they said that was his first goal of the season!

He's featured 5 times for the U21s this season and scored already and I'm pretty sure he was injured earlier in the season but he scored a couple of brilliant goals in pre-season.

He was out injured from early November. This was his third game back. Nice volley yesterday http://twitter.com/Wattsypics/status/302805115318964224/photo/1 Looks like he is strong but lacking match fitness. He scored 4 preseason and a belter v Newcastle to win the game. All for U21s. MUTV commentators said he was the strongest player on the pitch. Gboly Arybi was good too.
