He stayed overnight in Liverpool, so everything happened very fast. Hope Liverpool paid for his travel, then we only have to pick up the tab for shuttle to Southampton (every penny counts you know). Saints offered asking price...Liverpool wouldn't match it and wouldn't guarantee to take him. We were the better bet from Molde and Forren's point of view.
 
Apparently there are more Norwegian journalists than English ones at Adkins' press conference this afternoon. Can't wait to see him straight-bat their questions about Forren.

Obviously risking everything on staying up and they have to pay huge wages to convince anyone to play for QPR. Let's hope they remain bankrolled if they get demoted. What about the change inrules about owners putting money into clubs?
 
Remy has chosen QPR? Blimey. I have a quandry with this in that I quite like Tony Fernandes, but I have nothing but the most bilious hatred of twitchy face. Methinks hatred wins. I'd love them to go down. Imagine how joyous it would be if Twitcher, Fat Sam and Pards went down. Marvellous.

That's too much to hope for. I'll settle for two! Arry trying to buy his way out of trouble. Remy has hardly played in the last few months so may not be the saviour.

I think this has all the makings of a massive flop. Tons of money, both on transfer fee and wages, for a player who hasn't lived up to his potential for a while.
 
On another note. A bit cheeky, but if Liverpool let Coates go out on loan, as is being reported, we could do a lot worse than snap him up too.....!
 
I did suggest that we got Lukaku on loan before West Brom did precisely that, so my hit rate on sensible loan suggestions is at an unimpeachable 100%......
