Surely you wouldn't want to stand in his way if he has the chance to progress his career?

I presume you spend so much time over on our board becasue the rest of the Hammers think you are a complete knob. Early on a bit of banter was fun, now you are just an annoying little cock. Bugger off back there.

I'm starting to think that we might need to go down the one route that I'd ordinarily prefer us not to: the loan market for some short term quality.

Now I'm all for the loan market to bring in young players who need games to kick start their careers. I'd have been delighted as a Bolton fan in the past to see Wilshire and Sturridge signing on loan, and likewise with Wigan and Cleverley. But I'm generally not too keen on loaning experienced players who simply can't get any football at their current club, especially when you're in a relegation battle. How much are they really going to care if you stay up or go down?

I don't just think that we need three or four signings in January, I think we need one or two of them to be of real decent quality (that's clearly not saying world class quality though). But in our current position, with us just not being in a position to guarentee them PL football next season, I don't see how we could really buy that quality. But loan it in? Yeah, maybe?

Saints are linked with a move for Brighton winger Will Buckley. Can play either side.

Always looks a very good talent.

He impressed me immensely last season and the season before, albeit at Championship level. I've seen hardly anything of Brighton this season though, so I've no idea what his current form is like.

Southampton are said to be keen on Brighton winger Will Buckley and Millwall defender Shane Lowry as they ponder January improvements.
Brighton winger Buckley, 23, has been in impressive form for the Championship side, scoring five goals in 20 games for the Seagulls so far this season.
Saints boss Nigel Adkins is reportedly set to test Brighton's resolve to keep him with a £2m offer for the player in the new year transfer window.
Buckley, who joined Brighton from Watford in the summer of 2011 for a then-club-record £1m, has been heavily linked with several Premier League sides in recent months but Saints are thought to be leading the chase for his signature, despite Brighton being intent on keeping him.
Millwall defender Lowry, meanwhile, is also on Southampton's radar and the club have sent scouts to watch him recently.
Lowry is under contract at Millwall until the summer of 2014 but an offer in the region of £1.5m may be enough to prise the Australian away, who would be keen to test himself in the top flight.

I just think you can't keep switching them around...SKD could play a blinder against Stoke. The truth is we need a top PL keeper...but where do we find one, is one available, can we afford them, would they come here? Think we are stuck with what we've got and, given Kelvin's experience and familiarity to the team, I would stay with him.

Keepers errors have cost us dearly this season.........We may have to bite the bullet and go for someone like Robinson, is it, who we were linked with earlier?
I am told though by someone who claims to know more than me....(not hard I know) he wouldn't give me a name but said we were looking at a keeper in his mid twenties who was proving his worth in the lower leagues.......Not much I know but has anyone any idea's?
