In theory an ideal replacement from our point of view. However, as Chilco says, a lack of money to turn things around may be an issue. Depends how much of a challenge he wants I guess, and how much he liked it here first time around.
I'd definitely support, other opinions are available. He managed RBL for a while (not recruited by Mitchell), got them promoted and then to the Champions League but left because he couldn't agree a new contract. It would fit the German-style set up we seem to be going for (he coaches and a committee do the transfers). It's a bit of a tenuous link really, but he's an out of work manager who seems to be actually not bad, and there's not many of them about.
Don't quite understand this. Says trying to get all the changes in before the January window and ends with Ralph quote saying we don't expect to do anything in the January window?
Maybe the club have learned not to tell the selling clubs that we need to sign some players. Maybe. Maybe not.
We need to go back to the basics thst made us so good once before. We could look to bring in a manager that plays the way of MP and RK
I might apply for the job myself, I reckon I’d make a pretty good head of the board manager CEO type guy.
Spuds have famously got a cheese room and if you got the gig I guess that SMS will have a pot garden.....
