Picture taken from gallery at Evian. On Player, good interview with Nigel Enthusiastic Adkins. The hotel apparently was used recently for the G8 conference, so Nicola forcing them to rough it then
I am struggling to see the purpose of the elasticated tether. I see Kelvin was training with it too. Trying to produce extra spring in the legs..?
I was about to say the same thing. I saw it in the OS gallery earlier and was wondering what its purpose could be.
Looking at the photo i was waiting for either his mum or dad to come into view holding the other end of the harness.
It's to get them accustomed to all those heavy, claggy mud baths they'll be playing on in the Prem, as opposed to the billiard tables in League One and the Championship.
Just seen that Barney played in our3.1 win over Winchester. How gutted must he be to be missing out on the Evian trip. Since being out injured everything seems to have gone wrong for him. Don't know how he'd have done anyway, but he's well down pecking order now.
It's a shame, as he would have surely started as Lambert's partner last season if not injured and would have had a good season, but as you say that injury really put him down the pecking order and I wish him all the best for the future - will never forget the part he played in these last 3 years
Beauty of that system is that, if and when Forecast tries to charge at a ball well outside his range, the tether will launch him into the exosphere. My understanding of contract law is somewhat lacking, but I'm pretty sure that we don't have to pay players who are no longer gravitationally tied to Earth.
