Hi all

I am thinking about purchasing Saints Player. Is it worth it? I know you get commentary on there, what else is on there thats worth the money?

I'm lucky enough that my uncle lets me use his account. If he ever stopped using it however I would buy it straight away - I went back and watched the extended highlights + post match from the Walsall game the other day, priceless!
 
I find it good value at 4 quid or so per month. Lots of video highlights and interviews as well as the Radio Solent commentary of every game. You can also get the radio commentary on just about every other game played, not just those with Saints featuring, and you can choose which side's local radio commentary to listen to, if you get bored with the bias towards one side or the other.

As an aside, I have finally discovered an App for my iPad which allows you to play Flash media, which you need for Saints Player. It's called Photon if anyone's interested.
 
I use it from China, it is the only way i get to see any of the match action (even if it is a few days after the event), I can sometimes find a live stream but these often close or are closed before the end of a game. Listening to the solent commentary is priceless for me based so far from home.
 
Very good for mid week games that aren't covered by the football league show, and good if they don't show a particular incident on there as well. Plus youth game highlights and interviews!
 
An interview from Adkins and one of the players pre and post match, extended highlights of every match (sometimes even the full 90 minutes), U21 highlights and reaction, FAYC highlights and reaction and of course the Solent commentary. Plus, most league teams have player too, so your loging will get you those features for other teams too if you're interested.

It's well worth it for anyone interested in Saints or football generally.
 
Echo the above and also quite interesting to log-on to the player for the other championship sides (using the same password) so you can hear all the lame excuses from the opposition managers.

Did you see Di Canio's rant? He basically said "it's not my fault I abuse refs, it's just who I am!"
