    After the co owner of Crystal Palace had a hissy fit about it, we should have just said that we are not willing to negotiate any more and we´ll let the tribunal set the fee, as that was the last thing they wanted and it would have pissed them off.... and we would have probably had to pay less.

    @SimonPeach: Led to believe figures bandied around about #SaintsFC paying #CPFC £2.5million for Clyne are about right. Might have been a shade less.

    Seems awfully generous, considering a tribunal would never have set the fee that high, but still a good deal for us.
