Watching Man City v Saints and to be honest Saints look comfortable. They survived a conned penalty and Clyne took out Aguero beautifully (why didn't we go for him?). All in all they look decent, hope that isn't the kiss of death...
2-1 Saints! Are Man City possibly starting this season as they almost finished the last one against us?
Puncheon didn't look half bad did he! I always thought it was a bit unfair when everyone wrote him off even though we gave him no game time.
He was overweight and his attitude stank. He's had to grovel to Adkins and, to be fair, looks to have been in the gym over the summer.
O pts (like us), but much better GD, after a great Saints performance today - they played with the heart of our 10 man gang last season here, and at least their players laid down a marker, rather than disappearing into the shadows like our bunch of stars did yesterday. All in all, it was the best result for us since we are more likely to be fighting it out with Saints as relegation candidates, rather than Man City for the title.
Well at the very least is shows Warnock perhaps hadn't lost his eye for talent quite as much as some implied the puncheon signing suggested.
Oh right. We went last season - cant remember the price now - but 50 quid is alot of money - especially when you travel that distance - so can understand that tbh. Am I right in thinking your away following is good though?
Once again we're seeing another promoted team punch above their weight. If our team can't show commitment and produce a similar result then I will be asking questions again of MH.
and the piss taking has been done with their fans. 1 PL game in 5 years and they cant even sell out 3k seats.
