So Eric Dier. I'd be pleased.

 

Yep, would be nice to find a decent young centre back that can challenge for first team. We should play him alongside Tiago Ilori for FM nostalgia purposes.

 

Ilori, funnily enough is also English.

 

Plays for Liverpool tho right? Also Dier wouldn't move until the summer if we bid.

Bit surprised they bought him for as much as they did actually, seemed like a strange deal to do.

 

English-born maybe. Plays for Portugal.

Dier is an interesting one. Seems a good prospect. Imagine there'd be a fair amount of interest in him though.

 

How reliable is the Dier link?

 

Nothing concrete as far as I can tell.

 

We have def looked at him.

 

Is he better than Ali Dier?

 

Pretty sure the 'Dier' theory is as reliable and realistic as Carlos Fierro.

 

But he's English and will save our season from that pesky Croation we bought

 

We "look at" a lot of players though, most of whom we never hear about.

 

And some we do? I'm only passing on a bit of info I have been told.

Doesn't Guly's contract expire at the end of the season though?! Would this mean he'll be signing a new contract shortly then...

 

I think this will be Guly's last at Saints. I like him, but he probably wants to play regularly at his age.

 

Wasn't there talk of him playing for his home team back in Brazil.

 

There might have been. It makes sense. He has been a great player for Saints, no matter what some may say.
