I'm happy Hesketh is there! This is a make.or break year for him, if he isn't going to play he needs to go on loan. Though He deffo looks alot bigger.
So the big omissions are Boufal and Carillo, whilst players who have been mooted as possible departures such as Bertrand, Forster, Davis are all on the plane. Have a feeling there could be a different passenger list flying home than the one above?
Sensible for Hughes to look at the players who were out on loan first hand before any final decisions are made. Very important couple of weeks for some fringe players and their immediate futures
Will be interested in Hughes’ take on Sam Gallagher. Having had Crouchy as a fall back, long ball option at Stoke, Sam might be in with a shout.
I'm happy that Hughes wants to have a look at Claise. Even if ultimately ends up in us selling Jordy, at least Hughes would have looked at him. Says everything about Boufal and Carrillo. If we can get £25m for the pair, that's probably not a bad outcome (might be wishful thinking from me though). Throw in two wages saved (and presumably both towards our higher earners), and that would nicely position us to be able to fund one top signing. Win-win.

forgot about him- he's highly thought of as well isn't it? leaves us with a lot of u23 goalkeepers!! Jack Rose Harry Lewis Kinsley Latham Adam Parkes Alex Cull
Something must be happening with Carrillo in terms of a transfer, unless he is injured. Nothing else makes any sense as to why he wouldn't be in the squad. Even if he was injured I wouldn't be surprised to see him going if he had a future here, these pre season trips are also about building up a bit of team spirit, and he won't know his team mates too well anyway having only joined in January
