Hey guys looking forward to visiting your ground next week. Just wondering if anyone had any advice about parking and such, my mate suggested the hospital as its nearby is that a good idea? Anyway thanks in advanced and good luck for the rest of the season after Sat!

there's a few car parks around...both the grammer schools have spaces, and there's another one near the BP garage, i think it's £5. Hmm, actually, thinking about it, maybe it's only the boys grammer!

Town centre car-parks are probably your best bet. There are a few schools that you can pay to park in but they are not easy to find if you don't know the streets. As stated above the Hospital car-park is expensive, but you can pay for that on your plastic

I would have suggested Fisher's Industrial Estate on Wiggenhall Road or Watford Fields School, which is just off the same road. I think both are a fiver and a 5 minute walk to the ground. Sure it's easy enough to Google Map both! Otherwise I'd say the Girls Grammar school.

If, as I suspect, you are coming around the M25 then off at Junction 19, right at the large (Huntonbridge) Roundabout (A411), right at the first set of proper traffic lights and then left at the roundabout with the pub on the RHS. Go along to the end of the road, turn round and park as close as you can to that end. But arrive early, that estate (the Cassiobury) gets full and it can be a long walk to the ground - follow the fans. But at least it's free and relatively easy to get back out to the M25 and home after the match (with your tails between your legs)....

Tesco car park is free, and it's a 10-15 minute walk away.

You're allowed three hours there, then they may start to give out a penalty (though I've never seen them do it myself). If you park, watch the game and go then it's not really a problem.

Otherwise I know there is Watford Grammar for girls carpark, and there's another one close to the ground too. Both cost though.

I went in the girls school once :emoticon-0105-wink: and put my borrowed car between two Range Rovers, I think it was GBP5,00 but was three years. When I have been with my friend he parks away from the shopping street towards the railway station and puts money in a machine.

there's also free parking at the top of Deacons Hill, by the green, but you have to get there very early to find a space.
