Was just wondering whether despite us being 2nd you still see Birmingham being your biggest challengers, or whether you genuinely see us as contenders and if so which players you are fearing on Tuesday . All the best for the rest of the season, apart from Tuesday.
I see you, Cardiff and Birmingham as our biggest threat, 2 out of those 4 will go up, and I think the other 2 will fail in the play-offs. We havn't been playing well at all lately, yet have managed to overhaul you, which means you've been even worse and, tbh, I don't see you going up if you lose to us. You do have a slight advantage over the other 2, Birmingham have played a lot of games and I think they may start to fade towrds the end of the season, and Cardiff have a Wembley date to distract them, the results of that, regardless if they win or lose, may have a negetive impact on them. As to your team, anyone who ignores Lambert as a threat is a fool, I wouldn't be too upset if I heard he'd slipped in the shower, twisted his ankle and missed tomorrows game as I've not bee paticularly happy with our defensive options this season, I only have any faith in Tomkins & Faye, although Reid is improving.
I must admit, I thought Saints were going to fall away but you seem to have come back and I now think you are our main threat. Brum, Cardiff and Blackpool all look dangerous though.
hmm, Blackpool, they seem to have come up under the radar a bit, good shout trixter, big gme on tuesday then.
let,s face it guys, we are both going to have our nerves shredded before this season is out - neither of us is going to win all our remaining games. Hang to your seats folks - whatever happens we are all going to need a holiday after this! Reading are obviously looking to be a solid threat on the run in. Still fancy West Ham & us for the top two. let,s wish each other good luck!
To be fair, us and West Ham should get the top 2 spots. I don't care what order! This thread has made me realise that Reading have come from nowhere if you look at the date of the thread - only about 10 games ago. Let's hope there isn't another team that 'do a Reading' over the next ten games as I prefer the odds of 2 out of three, rather than 2 from 4!!! Blasted Reading, we were having so much fun swapping around at the top until they came along! Good luck (not too much) No7
No, don't particularly like him, but he's what we need at the moment until Di Canio is done with Swindon.
He,s not what you need - he,s what you are stuck with at this stage of the season. Every game you fail to win, it,s the ref,s fault, should have been a penalty, definitely a handball that,s been missed. Signs of an increasingly desperate man. If West Ham had stuck to their beliefs in playing football you would not have had a problem. He,s a hoofball man & it shows in his team(s)
