Two goals, two injured and three points gained. Hope Adam was taken off to protect him rather than having him out for a couple of games. Felt sorry for Dale as he seemed to be doing ok.
Dale got a strong knock on the Achilles from some dirty Charlton BASTARD. Let's hope he doesn't have too long till he comes back as he looks a decent prospect. Good, easy win.
This may have been a routine type of win as someone said, but in the past these were the games we were losing. NA certainly knows how to get a team playing. He has got an expensive side at this level, but we have had good sides before without achieving consistency. Heady days.
Crunch time now with three very awkward away games with only Bristol Rovers in between. Leyton, Rochdale and Brighton. Now we need to see our boys really tough it out.
There were a lot of players hurting out there at the end, Richardson was lame, Dickson took a knock, Jedi was whacked, as was Barney before Guly was subbed, but full credit they all kept soldiering on, I could see that Lambo was getting very frustrated at being strangled every time he went for a high ball. A very good effort.
Some of the football played tonight was awesome.......Very quick passing. I still do not like that diamond formation. We seem to struggle with it. It probably worked, just, tonight because of their determination to play hoof ball. Once again Jaidi was outstanding he missed nothing in the air. BWP was not in the game at all. In fact I thought he had a poor game. Still nice of the crowd to give him a clap as he was substituted.
Agree with all that Beddy. Strange how for probably the first time this season, we played better in the first half than the second.
Yes I would as I think we can afford to lose at least two and still do it. Will have to win our three home games and maybe two away will do it but three would be much better.
Bit worried if they were all puffing at end...they've had 10 days off and played 2 games! Perhaps it reflects the effort they put in. I expect today they'll be assessing injuries and tweaks. Sounds worrying about Stephens especially as he seems a good signing. The skill now will be balancing training and treatments bearing in mind the busy schedule ahead. In Nigel we trust.
To be fair both teams were struggling in the end. Obviousy the weekend games are taking their toll. Three days is barely enough to recover from the type of games both teams faced over the weekend. The guys are going to have to soldier on and it will only get worse!!
Ok thanks, a draw against Brighton would be a really good result and who know they may even lose some form before we play them which could play into our hands nicely.
Just done the old bbc predictor and I put us down to draw with Orient and Rochdale and lose to Brighton but we still went up 4 points clear of Hudds. God I hope for a draw/Peterborough win on Saturday!
