Not sure this has been discussed before and apologies for my poor IT skills. Wouldn't let me attach so I had to cut and paste. Despite the pressure of being at the top we kept our heads much better than West Ham for example. My concern is that the added pressure of big games this season could up our card count considerably. Not sure what the records are for Davis and Clyne but we need all our players to keep their heads under the increased scrutiny. Would love us to do it again this season. Fulham have shown that it is possible to survive at the top level without getting lots of cards. Could even get us into Europe! Views?

And add one on to Boro for their defender not getting sent off in the second last game of the season. Anyway, don't be concerned, because we will definitely get more cards, because we'll be defending more and tackling players who are better and faster. We'll be ok though.
And Lambert's trip. I've looked at that several times, and I can't see what he's supposed to have done.
Chaplow against Barnsley, Fox against Birmingham, Lambert against Brighton. Who got the other red card?
Clyne only managed 1 yellow card all season, which is fairly impressive for a defender and Davis managed 3 yellows. Pretty good if they can keep that up.
I remember a very early interview with Pardew where he said one of the very few footballing orders from Markus and Nicola was to cut down on fouls and bookings because we want to be respected as a club.
