Only in 4-3-3 though. Because if we play this guy as one of the two in a 5-3-2 then who is he really brining in to shoot? Assuming current midfield at least where there is no one

I guess I’m hoping there is a reason both him and Che were on the list for Wolves and that he seemed higher. What isn’t clear is why they haven’t gone back. Have Wolves signed someone else ?

I’d be intrigued if the SR network of clubs end up with this guy, another midfielder previously wanted by Wolves, a very promising Portuguese central midfielder and two Brazilian youngsters for development. Would make me wonder if Wolves had fallen out with their arrangement or something

Well if it’s a front two in that sense, he’s the foil to Archer. He also brings in Les/Flynn/Fernandes, who would be the three I’d want in that situation.

Bijlow
Suga THB Beddy Jack KWP

Big Les

Flynn Fernandes

Alberto Archer

Not something I would hate if the two WBs push up for width.

Going to be difficult getting width from KWP on the left so. He'll be far more inclined to come inside - especially under Martin, with his fondness for inverting.

I love KWP, as we all do. But he's not a LWB.

Looking into this a bit more, seems he started brilliantly with Coronthians, but has recently been more than a bit **** (coinciding with Corinthians going downhill and a bit mad too), and has become a bit of figure of fun that they’d love to be rid of.

So it feels like there’s definitely the talent there, but it’s a bit of a gamble whether we can extract it again. We can either have got ourselves another Firminho (actually, a young Firminho is precisely what we need), or we have another Delgado…

Also wondered if he was actually coming to us and not to Goztepe.

Either way, if he does come here, good luck to the guy.

I mean, I'm not exactly enamoured if it's him that we go for but whoever we go for, it's a punt. To outsiders, especially outside the country, we are the worst of the three promoted clubs (because we came 4th and had to do it via the playoffs) - not a huge draw and in any bidding war with another club, we lose. Unless it's Ipswich or Leicester, in which case we have a chance

Yes I've seen the bad bloopers, the memes, the piss taking but this is a guy who between the age of 18 and 23 has scored over 50 goals and averages a goal every three games through almost 200 career games. And he's 23. So I get it, in terms of why this is the punt we would go for

I can remember Shane Long going on 30/40/50 game runs of scoring one or two goals. And yet he was loved because he ran around a lot. So, you know...

Oh I’m actually all for it.

I love this signing, if it comes off. Will be entertaining for sure. He's got an air of Darwin Nunez.

Even if he's ****e, it'll be more fun than seeing "Oh Che" stand still in the box, or taking a touch with an open goal in front of him to move it onto his right foot.

I guess it depends on the nature of the obligation. If it is based on games/goals/staying up then that is one thing. Doesn’t sound like we would be interested if it’s just a straight obligation unless our big issue is PSR

Understandable from their end

If true it is good that the idea motivates the player - and before people say it, as far as I understand, loans are usually on the same terms as the base contract. So he won’t be excited by a premier league salary. Unless loans have changed. Maybe part of such deals is that we also pay extra
