Would be nice to have an unexpected signing today as well as 'you know who'. Getting greedy now.
I would expect there to be quite a few signing announced today as Nicola has sent out that DVD to quite a few players across the world. My understanding is that many of them have already friended him on Facebook, so I wait with confidence. In the DVD we trust.

Surely the blasphemy is the belief generated that this young Uruguayan is the Saints' Messiah? Reading over the last few days, they'll be flooding the pitch at SMS to allow him to walk on water; fishes and loaves will be distributed at half time and the post match party will be fueled by wine that was formerly water.
If we do sign him, can we all remember that he ain't going to win games on his own?!
I agree that some people have got a little carried away and think that signing him automatically means we will stay up but on the other hand, from what we have seen of him, his reputation and who he is being chased by he could well be a different class of player to anyone we have seen in the last 10 years at Saints.

Slapping is against the forum rules, and anyway there is always the "custard cream" exemption clause.
Going to stick my neck out and say that Ramirez will be announced before noon.
