    Withholding judgement on him because I've never even heard of him, but I really hope this doesn't mean the Rojo and van Dijk deals are dead.

    €6 million apparently. Agree with Dan, would like to think Dijk and Rojo are still goers. Not sure I can see us signing three CBs in one window though.

    i'd be hapy with buying this guy and rojo, fonte should still have a good chance of first team football and we wouldn't rely on yoshida or hooiveld as immediate backup

    My guess is that we're still pursuing one, but not both. K Billy's statement yesterday suggested that this was backup if something happened with one of those transfers...if Celtic opted to pull back because they advanced a round by default, I think we owe whichever low-level Legia employee mucked up the registration many sternly-worded letters.

    Gardos + one of the other two defenders we're linked with would be very decent. As someone said above, the fee for Rojo is possibly too high now and van Dijk might be more worthwhile.

    So if we're given the choice of either Dijk or Rojo...? I'd probably go for Rojo.

    Ronald Koeman confirms that Saints are interested in Florin Gardos, but as far as he is aware the deal is not done yet.

    Looked at his watch..which suggested that it was close. Also confirmed we are interested in Rojos....was quite emphatic about that.
