I'm going to start an Olympic Games thread, I think. That should annoy some, be irrelevant on a football forum, but peculiarly have some comments on some of best performances in sports on the planet.
In the meantime, don't count this post as condoning this thread.
If we had a thread for every tenuous rumour that popped up, we'd soon be on about 10 pages of threads a day!
Well if it's closed, and we do have a transfer rumour thread for this stuff, I think we must guarantee to open it again and add a "!" if he ships up at St Marys with a Saints shirt above his head saying how easy a decision it was to join us.
Well as it's morning, I suppose I better close it, subject to the unlikely event described by Channon above.
