So, the Rovers v Sainsbury's saga will finally end, one way or another, this Thursday at 10am.

Obviously, it's a bit of a moot point what with the Al Qadi takeover, but I'd love to see Sainsburys forced to shell out £30million. Also, the decision should signal the start of the stadium process whatever the outcome.

    Exciting times!

I am not sure about this, but I thought that the appeal only ends here if all three judges reach a unanimous decision.
If it's not unanimous, I understood that a further appeal can be put before five judges and their decision is final.

If that's the case hopefully we'll get a unanimous decision as we don't want this dragging on any longer - we want to get building!

Someone I spoke to on Saturday reckoned that Sainsbury's would win because of all the other claims that would be made against them if the ruling was found in favour of the Rovers

This shouldnt be the reason though why they should favour Sainsburys. The details in our case should be the only basis to make a decision on. Just because Sainsburys have made 50 wrongs, it doesnt make it right <ok>

That was just an opinion of someone I spoke to on Saturday at the match. he didn't say it would happen just expressed an opinion, and it is big business that normally win these things. a bit like the committee that sorts out transfer fees for under 23 age players when the clubs can't agree a fee. they always find in favour of the big clubs

I get it was their opinion. They could even be right. The courts may find favour to Sainsburys due to all the other cases it may bring. I bet they do consider that too when making the decision. Im just saying that they shouldnt decide our case on other potential cases <ok>
