Just how good is this guy? If we get him, what will he bring to the side?
I'm trying to see how he would fit into the equation if we also purchase a DM. Who will make way for him?
Say we sign M'vila to replace Song. And Sahin too.
How will our midfield look? Will Arteta be relegated to the bench? Not sure how it will work tbh.
    Thoughts?

Sahin is available because he's failed. I don't get why people are raving about a failure.

Yes a failure to get into one of the best midfields in the world, Kaka, Ozil, Khedira...

    Not a clever statement really.

So have Hazard, Torrres, Marin and Oscar joined Chelsea because they are failures?

Another well thought out and meaningful contribution from a Chelsea fan.

So you're saying Real paid out millions for a player they knew would not be playing then did they <doh>
Or did they think he would compete and not be a complete and utter failure?

He was injured from day one and was out for months. Had no pre-season. He was initially brought in to play alongside Alonso, but because of injury he could never get a game and therefore never get into the team. Being injured from the start is never a good thing when you move clubs but when the club you moved to happens to be Madrid, then it's a ****ing nightmare. There is a reason, Madrid only want to release him on loan.

Injuries... competition for places in midfield... do these things mean nothing to you? Madrid is a graveyard of talent; many top top players go there under the illusion that they will succeed but fail to shine. Now answer me this: just because a player has one injury ravaged season at a club which he could not break into because of the presence of other established, world class players, does this mean he is a failure?

The irony of this post is too much coming from a Chelsea fan. Please crawl back from under the stone you came from.

    I know you're a troll but I'll bite.

Using your logic, you bought Lukaku because he was a failure at his previous club, only to loan him to West Brom due to you not playing him.

You somehow manage to make Chelsea fans look even more cretinous, which I thought was an impossible feat before reading your posts.

Wow this is a stupid comment.

I would take Sahin over ANY midfielder at Chelsea.

Real Madrid have a HUGE squad and Sahin is'nt getting the games. The exact same thing has happened to Sneidjer, Van Der Vaart, Kaka and Higuiane at Madrid - did they ALL fail too??

This is a guy who was considered Dortmunds best player over the likes of Goetze, Kagawa and Lewandowski (in fact he's was the best player in all Germany in 2011-11).

I was a massive fan of Sahin when he played for dortmund and think has has the ability to be one of the very best players in World Football.

At 5'11 he's fairly robust, mobile, aggressive and has the ability to dictate the pace of the game. Simular to Pirlo in style but perhaps a little more physical.

If he comes to the Premierleague (hopefully Arsenal) you will ubnderstnad why I rate him soo highly. I dont think Chelsea or even United have a midfielder of his quality.

Sahin is a brilliant player, and another big name signing like Cazorla. He will make a wonderful partnership with Arteta and Cazorla, and we can then boast about having the best midfield in the league again.
