Considering our current plight would anyone consider Harry Rednapp as our next manager if he could be prised away from QPR ?
I think we really need a manager who's prepared to keep out of the media and just get on with the job and hes not that man. We need to avoid becoming a joke like Newcastle who are looking like they might be about to move Joe Kinnear into the spotlight if they sack Pardew.
Saggy chops? Ha'way man he likes to spend money, and lots of it, he'll not gan to a club where they will give him a bag of carrots and a milky way and tell him to rebuild. Peter Odemwinge sat outside the ticket office in his Range rover, waiting for a call to enter. please log in to view this image
Tbf I love to hear Arry on the box and he does have a knack with teams but he would never fit our clubs current structure and management ideals and we don't have the time to restructure our whole club to accommodate him. We need someone who can come in and pick up the pieces from day one without too much turmoil. Either a hungry young manager with more than fruitcake for brains who can drive us on, or an older hand that can steady the ship.
That's why I posted the thread, we all know how shady the guy is but, he would probably guarantee our premier league status. Things went pear shaped last season at QPR but I don't think any manager could have turned that mess around given the time that he had. A huge "staying up" bonus would entice him away but I agree with most of you guys on here that he isn't ideal. I still remember him poaching Younas Kaboul from under our noses by trotting him off to a casino !
Harry has had success wherever he's been - but has also left a trail of destruction - Bournemouth (Administration), Portsmouth (Administration), Southampton (Administration) - spends big and jumps ship so definite no no from me - I'm not saying he is the sole person to blame for the admin but theres a big coincidence that he's been at 3 clubs who've gone that way after he left!!
He went to Spurs when they were Played 8 - Points 2 and soon dug them out of the s**t, and on that basis alone he would be a yes for me. But North London is as far as he'd ever go.
