I think so, it's still classed as unsporting behaviour.

Won us a penalty though...perhaps better to get the petulance out of the way early on in the season. I imagine Brucey will give him a proper bollocking

Clearly not Brady on the replay. Looked like Martin he was having a go at. Don't think he even made contact though. Usually the recipient goes down like he was poleaxed when that happens. Dont think Martin even staggered. Terrible decision by the worst ref in the Prem. But at least he gave us a dubious winning penalty <party>

    Saggy will learn.

Poor lad's devastated, he's tweeting away in some version of English trying to explain how sorry he is.

I'll think he'll be useful, and he'll iron these things out.

He was a little silly, but I have faith in Saggy.

He'll work his balls of to make up for this.

nothing dubious about it, it was clear cut their defender was all over him and pushing him down with both hands on Sagbos shoulders

Sagbo has tweeted on the matter and apologised for getting sent off but admits the referee got the decision right. He said Martin put his head against Sagbo and Sagbo pushed with his head and he realises he can't/shouldn't have done it.

If that is the case Brucie should take the matter further because if anyone was to be sent off it should have been Martin if not both of them...

I've seen that happen loads in football and it never get called up.

It's still a stupid thing to do though and there was no need. It gives Graham a chance though, and one of Fryatt/Prozzy on the bench.

Stupid head movement and he had Martin backing up so just no need for it. I doubt there'll be an appeal.

Gives Graham a chance to show his mettle then Sagbo comes back like a coiled spring.

I had to take 2 or 3 looks to see it but from there it was right in the ref's line of sight, but it's too far away to see clearly but it looked like he made the motion so I think he had to go. Hopefully see it better on MOTD.
