Tickets for our Sky Bet Championship match away to Derby County will go on sale to Members on Tuesday 8 October at 9:30am. The Tigers will head to Pride Park to take on Paul Warne’s newly promoted Rams on Saturday 26 October, kick-off 3pm. We have received an initial allocation of 1,997 tickets. The upper tier is safe standing, with seating in the lower tier. No tickets will be available on the day.
We have already had safe standing this season at Norwich and Stoke (and unsafe standing at QPR and Leeds). I like it.
Was good at Norwich. No miserable twats behind telling you to sit down as they were confined to the seating bit
Next fans meeting top of the agenda will be how unfair it was because they want to sit at the top of the stand and they should put the standing at the bottom. Hopefully someone will explain why that wouldn’t work.
I've mistakenly took the thread title as a discussion on seating arrangements at Tattenham Corner,Epsom
Crazy how our away support numbers have dipped recently. I know the odd kick off times aren't helping but overall it does feel less
We've had some treks and as you say stupid times tbf. But TWS eventually sold out even at their prices and this is our first close ish away game on a Saturday at 3 of the season, apart from that one
Portsmouth took over 1,700 to Stoke on a Wednesday night a trip of 200 miles which was impressive. We took 750 on a Friday night a trip of 120 miles.. 200 .Plymouth took over 1,000 to Burnley a distance of 313 miles. Again impressive compared to our 750 or so who went the 120 odd mikes to Norwich. Neither of them were doing any better than us in the league.
There's plenty of odd Mike's in Norwich, and Tarquin's, and Rupert's and ... The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
That theres nothing to do in portsmouth and plymouth So theyd rather spend all day travelling for a 90 min match
The usual **** response. What more is there to do in Hull on a Wednesday night? Or a Saturday afternoon.
Our away support is poor as of late. It is factual. There's a lot of extenuating circumstances like cost of living and odd kick off times to long away days. But all the games so far have been sparse in numbers.
I’m glad you said that last bit. Our away support is definitely NOT poor in terms of creating atmosphere and supporting the team. In fact it is exemplary compared to some of the sparse rabbles we see at the Circle. Numbers are probably down a bit, but that’s down to kick off times/dates in my view, not anything more systemic.
