Right, just downloaded the Paddy Power App for my phone and decided to take advantage of their new customer deal: Make a bet of up to £50 and they'll match it with a 2nd bet...

This sounds brilliant, except, I'm absolutely gash when it comes to placing bets...

So, to anyone who likes a little gamble, how would you like to help a fellow Toon fan out? All the bets have to be at 2:1 or worse (so no betting on Chelsea to beat us). Horse Racing, golf, tennis - I'd take any of these...I just know **** all about them!

    Cheers lads!

Seville in the next race at York (2.30), Derby trial, was pricing at 15/8 this morning, dunno wat price it is now. Its a stick on thou!!!

Midday in the last race was even more of a stick on, hence the even money SP. Im waiting on Seville for the 5/1 double.

I'm doing you a great favour when I don't impart my personal betting advice.

    Best of luck though.

bet £50 on someone to win, then bet the other 50 on the same team to NOT win. since you covered all possible outcomes, you get your initial £50 back, plus whatever the odds are for the bet that won.

Only issue with that is, the bet has to be 2:1 and it doesn't take into consideration the fact that match may well draw, in which case I lose both the main bet and the free one!

The bookies are already fly with this. They don't give you your free match bet unitl your initial bet is settled. So you would have to wait until the first £50 had either came up or lost before they credit you with your free one. Hence the saying, the bookie is always the winner!!!

I bet that the Phoenix Orion HS1110 Series Electronic Locking Safe Size 2 is better than the Phoenix Citadel Series Electronic Locking safe Size 2.

    Odds?

That's why i said you bet on them to 'not win' instead of to lose

although it seems i've been rumbled. Unless you open accounts with two seperate companies both offering free match your bet things...

Alternatively, you could bet on Sunderland not to win either of their final two games.
