Sunderland round off their pre-season campaign on Saturday against Sky Bet League Two outfit Harrogate Town, (KO 3pm). The Black Cats have won both of their pre-season friendlies so far, having seen off Gateshead FC and Carlisle United and will be looking to make it three wins in a row at the Stadium of Light. Phil Parkinson’s forwards have reaped the rewards so far, with Will Grigg, Charlie Wyke and Chris Maguire all finding the target since the return. Jack Diamond is in contention to face his former teammates after starring on loan last season for the EFL newcomers. While Aiden O’Brien, Morgan Feeney and Remi Matthews will also be looking to build on their first starts for the club on Tuesday. Elliot Embleton is expected to return after missing the friendly against Carlisle with a thigh injury. Following tomorrow’s game, the Black Cats are back in competitive action when Hull City make the trip to Wearside in the Carabao Cup. Funny this pre season. I know we've only played Gateshead and Carlisle but a few players seem to be playing well. Our first team may be picked on actual form rather than who is playing less ****.
I’m gonna actually watch it, couldn’t bring myself to watch the Gateshead game just followed it on here, be the first Safc game I’ve seen since my dad died Coventry away, I’m feeling quite positive about the upcoming season even gonna back us, just waiting to see if city get Messi before my ACCA goes on
Norwich or brentford I’m waiting to see if Brentford lose Toney also got an eye on Watford and deeney
Norwich havnt lost anybody “yet” and have strengthened going Bolton league 2 alton towers was ok but full of thick people mate, if everybody stuck to the markings there would be no risk at all, unfortunately 80% are dense. it will test your patience but worth a go, I’m counting down the days now in case I start showing symptoms, mostly paranoia tbf
That's PP's problem here, and the I expect the old cliche of getting everyone fit will be raised and the worry is we will once again go into the first serious game (against Bristol) not knowing our who our best eleven is or even worse what their specific roles are. Wins apart the first two games have been enjoyable and allowed us to see players we would not normally see. Albeit some out of position, ie Grigg out wide and Diamond at left back. Incidentally I think it would be a better game to watch if the 12 man bench and three tactical substitutions, involving as many players as the manager feels necessary, were introduced as standard, barmy as it seems.

On that team I’d say Feeney is unlucky to miss out but I’ve no real problem with the 3 CB’s but Neil could be a possible starter. But we seem to have genuine depth now. A good centre forward wouldn’t go amiss mind.
Its basically the team that ended last season. No surprises, and nothing wrong there but no Embleton is a slight worry, hope to see him Taylor, Diamond and Neil get some game time this season.
I am just watching it on mad mistakes YouTube stream, or rather listening to his commentary. Fcuk paying a fiver for a game against Harrogate with no spectators.
Not much happening in this game at all. One decent move by Sunderland when we got it down and passed it. Apart from that, flanno and Willis looking for Wyke at the earliest opportunity
