The make up of the playing and coaching staff, the transfer "policy" plus the development/scouting set up at SAFC has been in a mess since long before Martin O'Neill took over.Without being too negative, we are not down yet, whoever is manager at the start of next season and whatever Division we are in,he will need the wisdom of Solomon and a great deal of luck to keep the Club afloat. I just hope that the team shows a bit more fight and passion for the next 9 games, like trying to block shots with everything they have instead of the new fashion of jumping out of the way. If they do show some fight the loyal fans might continue to back them.
Business wise the club has never been better. That will positively impact things on the pitch in the long term. Stay up this year and we are in good shape to have a go next year
See what you are saying business wise mate but, we have to sort the playing side out as well or it'll both go tits up. Look at Arsenal mate 100+mil in the bank not won nowt for 7/8 years and their fans are starting to get a bit nicked off. Christ we've had nowt in the bank and nowt to shout about for about 40 years.
Do you honestly think you're in danger of relegation? Can't see QPR, Reading or Villa winning enough games to put anyone under pressure. I'm surprised by how little fight your team seem to have - it's always been a trademark of MON's teams. High pressing and work rate - gone missing recently.
