He's good when coming off the bench, but as a regular starter I don't think he's that great.

Scores some good goals, but I don't see him scoring 15+ goals for a mid table team.

Then again, I think he'd be really good with Sessegnon, so who knows? Would be a great up front duo.

not getting my hopes up on this one, wouldn't go to newcastle because it was too far north, probably won't come here for the same reason

think he would do well for you.....plays his football on the ground...you have an intresting midfield...and if you have Bendtner aswell then defoe will thrive of his knockdowns etc...you could do alot worse.

Vermin Defoe is a nasty little tawt, left his footing to break Gordon's arm. I would not welcome him!

Guys, I hate to break it to you, but I'm on 405 now, and there's nothing on SSN about Sunderland or Defoe.

    Sorry.

Well tbh, at first I saw him as a normal guy reporting some ****ty rumour that meant **** all, but not a bad guy,.

But then I checked SSN. There's nothing on there about Defoe or Sunderland.

    So I think either -

    1. He's trolling you

    2. I checked SSN way to late and the story has gone.

    I dunno.

Yakubu,Johnson, Rodelago, Moses, Zigic watch the Euro 2012 and find a top class striker in the tournament and sign him!.

he would play a bit part in Pool's team i think because he would be classed as being too similar to Suarez in that he is a nippy little forward who is not afraid to have a pop.....or would possibly rotate with him....could play the big man/little man combo with Carroll aswell...however as a criticsm i would say his spacial awareness is like that of a woman!...he takes up spaces that are already covered...and when a pass is on..he tends to shoot.

he is not intelligent as a footballer...Suarez is.

As for Everton he would struggle to show the consistency that Jelovic showed....however sometimes strikers are unplayable until defenders suss them out...and this may have been the case with Jelovic...in which case Defoe would provide good competition for him...if that is the level of class Jelovic will always show then Defoe would struggle to keep up with him.

however having said all this...he really does have the ability to be a match winner. We at Spurs have usually Found him most useful as a sub entering the field of play with about 20 to go. Reason being he can be dynamic and when the match is intense he can pop up with an instinctive shot fuelled by pure adrenalin and match vibe...and grab you a cracking goal..an important one at that.

he is no Sessignon(sp) but could work well with him because Sessignion is intelligent enough from what i see to involve Defoe...as was Adebayor for us.

    Defoe started 22 matches

    17 sub appearences

    averaged 58 minutes per game

    goals scored 17

strike rate 215 minutes per goal.

am not sure if he would help you move up too many notches...but i think he would contribute to your competition with the Merseyside clubs in trying to maybe get positions 7-9 at best...not being disrespectful.

i could be wrong and at 10 milion? theres worse players that have been purchased for such amounts.

Bendtner and knock-downs, now that is an oxymoron, when did you last see Bendtner knock a ball down for his fellow forward. I for one never saw his days at school.<confused>
