From the BBC. Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said his side will not panic after a 3-0 defeat at Newcastle. The loss was United's second in five days, coming after their shock 3-2 home defeat against Blackburn. "We have the experience to cope, we need to get the show on the road," and that "It's not a time for panic. Losing a game at this time of the year can sometimes happen." Huge fan of SAF and I'm not about to hit the chicken switch but we just didn't get beat last night, there was also the Blackburn defeat at OT. Yes I know we have lots of players out injured and yes our back 4 has never been settled, but well paid players need to stand up and start performing and FAST!
I heard united fans on youre on sky sports saying Fergie needs to resign! Are they having a laugh or what? Plastic ****s
Trying to remain calm and bury my disappointment because Newcastle result was a bit of a freak imo. Conceded soft, soft goals. First was pure route one, a freekick conceded in a dangerous area and a own goal. All should have been dealt with better, while at the opposite end more clinical finishing, or a bit of luck could have seen Berb and Rooney grabbing goals themselves. Still wouldn't mind seeing a quality CM coming in though and can't begrudge Newcastle their victory.
I remember you lost 6-3 and 5-0 one season and still went on to win the league. Considering there is only 3 points in it even though City have had pretty much no injuries and the biggest squad I don't see why any Man Utd fan would have a need to panic.
Remember this? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8414926.stm I know we didn't go on to win the title that year (albeit by a point, thank you very much Mr. Valencia couldn't score a one on one against Blackburn! Or Carrick who missed a penalty against Burnley! ) but the performance was very similar in terms of ****ness, coming up against a very in form team.
I think if I watch you lot hit the post one more time i'll literally piss myself laughing. With Carroll now being your main focus for attacks I think im safe though. No wonder you lot have a victim mentality, even lady luck hates you.
Haven't received it - can you send it again? And a similarly injury ravaged defence. Carrick at CB and Fletcher at RB if I remember correctly. Btw, the 606 comment on the page seems to be from someone oddly familiar...
This was the team- 29 Kuszczak 03 Evra 30 De Laet (Fabio Da Silva 58) 08 Anderson 16 Carrick 18 Scholes yellow card 24 Fletcher 25 Valencia 28 Gibson (Berbatov 58) 07 Owen (Welbeck 72) 10 Rooney Haha that person has some explaining to do!
If you get beat by city ad have a poor end to the season is it beyond the realms to fathom that SAF may walk?
