By "old" I mean posters of a few years standing. One of the origional old BBC 606 posters from the Cardiff board has passed away after a long illness. I am sure many here will remember Blue Prophet as a witty, likeable adversary from the good old days of City v Cardiff banter when we were in the same league both on and off the pitch. What say we put our rivalries to one side for just a few mins and pay our respects to him on the Cardiff board like a few did when we lost our very own Natch?......

Strong character, loved his Cardiff, and like wiz said had a few tussels with him.. all in the name of banter RIP buddy. Good to see that he saw Cardiff go up into the prem before he passed.
Many thanks for putting this up Caldicot. I remember Roy first joining the old Beeb 606 forum when he set his tag as "bluebirdbluemoon" - remember that? He'd also supported Man City due to his location in his younger days and hence the dual name. He had a lot of other tags through his forum "career" forced upon him by numerous site bans purely because his passion for the club got him into trouble - bless him. A few of us on the forum knew about Roy's problems for the past 18 months or so, and agreed to keep it from going public in the hope he could make a full recovery - sadly it was not to be. Roy was a real gem of a bloke in real life as well as the forum and will be sadly missed - thanks again guys.
He was a good character and even though its only an online forum, You feel you get to know the people you chat to and they do become friends, So when something like this happens its very sad.
I remember him, one of very few Cardiff fans not interested in a slagging match, and one of the few fans who would engage you in a positive way. RIP.
Always sad when a good poster, and true supporter of his own team, passes on so my thoughts go out to his family from Canada.
