I heard this week the sad news that on Sunday 13th Oct, long time Gillingham Season Ticket Holder in the Rainham End died suddenly at the age of 47. Jason used to get me match day tickets before I was a season ticket holder, many years ago, as well as being a friend of my partner. He may have used the message boards, however, I'm unsure of his username and the site(s) he used. I've mulled over this condolence message at such a difficult time for his family and without their permission, but like all Gillingham supporters we are part of one community and share our religion at Church Priestfield, so felt it appropriate to announce such a sad and sudden loss. The funeral will be held at Bobbing Crematorium on Thursday 31st October at 1pm followed by a wake at Priestfield Stadium. RIP
