It is when the most positive person on this board our Sunderland board is Tash who I hate to say it has raised some good points. Unlike most of my fellow SAFC fans.

We WERE ****e though mate, really ****e.

Jack, Catts, Rose, Fletch & Mig were very good though, I'm not worried, we'll be just fine.

There's been a lot of negativity and I must say its frustrating!
A point against Liverpool and away to Arsenal and Swansea? We should be happy with that.
The majority of our players just need minutes on the pitch to get upto speed.

We've got a very strong squad, and should look at the positives:-
    1) Fletchers well and truly off the mark and showing he's worth the money.
    2) in Johnston we've got one of the best young players in the country.
    3) we finally have a decent left back.
    3) we've still got Brown and Bardo to come back, then we will be spoilt for choice in defence.
    4) vaughans also back now, so we have loads of cover in midfield!

I wish everyone would chill out FFS!

Points at Arsenal & Swansea, fair.

Should we be happy to draw with Liverpool? Debatable.

Should we be happy to be outplayed, at home by them? Not in a million years.

But, to repeat what I said 2 posts ago, we'll be fine.

I'm still very confident of us having a very successful season. Today was never going to be easy playing Liverpool after the weeks events, but we got a draw playing very poor. We will get stronger, I don't think you'll see Sess play as poor as that again this season, but like I said most of our players need some game time. This international break has done us no favours!

<ok> she's fine now mate thanks for asking.

She's due in 7 weeks. I've already got the boys Sunderland gear to wear, so they'll be put on the right path from day one!!

Disappointment yup but undefeated and another point on the board, got to look at the Positives like Fletch and Jack, AJ and McBardo still to come back. Sess to be fit, teams don't like Jimmy Mac and tend to crowd him so he must be doing something right.

We were second best all over the park. Colback and Clatters had a decent game and i liked the look of Danny Rose considering it was his first game, he just needs a couple of games to settle and get his fitness levels spot on and he'll be fine.
Fletch did well and took his goal really well and at the other end we'd have lost if not for Mig, Gardner was OK but got shown up a bit buy Johnson at times.

Larsson, Sess, McClean were way below par today but were all heavily marked so we need to stop this one direction approach and have a plan 'B', didn't look like we had one yesterday.

Always thought it would be an itty bitty game yesterday but, to witness that utter pile of crap was beyond even my understanding. For the first half an hour there was only one team in it and, to be honest I feared the worst. However after texting my mate that it doesn't look good Fletcher scored and it's happy days all round for a good 5 minutes after that it was typical Sunderland sit back and let the other team come at us. How many more ****ing times are we going to do that? Liverpool were there for the taking and, we let them off the hook with a game plan that involved clearing the lines at all costs instead of getting at them which at home was poor.
We were second to most balls and gave it away with total disregard for what shirt colour it was going to. Defence had a hard game due to the tactics employed, Midfield looked lost and were outplayed all game, the front men did what they could feeding on scraps which came their way all too little.
As for not having a pop at the team what are we supposed to do say well played and pat them on the back or say where we think it went wrong?
MON needs to work on stupid free kicks around the box we are still conceding and when we are defending them and corners keep a forward up top just in case the ball does get cleared by our lot.
All in all a poor game but, a game where we got a point by not playing well (or playing at all) so not too concerned as we will play much better and get beat by worse teams. As for positives from the game, I'm struggling to think of any bar Fletcher scoring again and Migs display which was very good (again due to tactics), MON got it wrong today however it wasn't the total disaster some of our lot think, it could have been a lot worse.

I think the BIG worry has to be how little we are creating. Luckily Fletcher is converting the very few chances he has been given but I'm not sure if anyone else has had a shot on target!!!!
