I think it’s pretty much a safe bet that the bottom 3 is gonna consist of 3 from the current bottom 5. Every single one of these teams have sacked their manager in the hope of staving off relegation, some a lot earlier than others.

I hope this is a lesson to owners (I suspect not) moving forward that change does not automatically equal safety. Norwich are gone and Watford all but gone and from the remaining 3 I’d rather see Everton or Burnley take the last spot…I don’t actually mind Leeds to be honest.

Get rid of Everton or Leeds because they're tougher games.

We have a better record against Leeds over last few seasons than we do Burnley

Well done. So it’s best if either Burnley or Everton go down

I really would like Everton to go down, but at the end of the day nufc just became the next galacticos, so like you say it's not going to make any difference.

Chelsea didn’t really need to win yesterday and as everyone thought Everton got the result. It would have been great for them to go down.

But I think that result galvanises them.

On topic. Burnley sacking Dyche seems to have worked.

Would be funny if Leeds went down given they sacked Bielsa.

Just lucky we picked up the points as I think 38 points is the target now.

Everton will be out the bottom 3 on May 11th...

Then they have Brentford at home

Even though Norwich are gone, they've still beem far better ever since they sacked that Farke drip of a man. Ditto Burnely and Leeds who's results have been far better since they sacked their managers. These 3 teams have taken big decisions to sack long term managers who they owe a lot to, but its paid off.

The teams constantly firing managers are the ones who pay the price - ie Watford with their never ending revoling door management system, and Everton who made the appalling decision to appoint a Liverpool legend, and replace him with an arrogant and inexperienced prick.

Everton's away record is still godawful amd the form book says they'll lose their 3 away games. Leeds ans Burnely are both in form and have at least 2 winnable games each, dont lose sight of that.

If you look at their results over the last couple of month alone you can see they're improving. It coincides with them getting players back.

Everton have been doing well along with Burnley, but Leeds haven't.

Everton imo will beat Watford and Leeds I don't think will get anything from Chelsea or Arsenal.

I see Everton out the bottom 3 on May11th and if that happens I don't see them not picking up points at home to Brentford.

Essentially I see everton being 4 to 6 points clear of Leeds by the time the last two fixtures come along

Burnley? I'm not sure, but I think it's Leeds that look like going.

Not true, Leeds have been doing very well, before the City game at the weekend theyd won 3 and drawn 2 of their previous 5 games. They were always going to lose to City, they just need to get back to their form before that game.

Leeds were well clear until today because the other two have been doing better?
Everton beat Chelsea Man united drew with Leicester and Chelsea and Burnley have won 3 in a row.

How are you quantifying this? From their last 6 games, Leeds have got more point that Everton have from their last 6 - 11 points vs 10 points.

They were never going to get anything City, and have Arsenal next, but i can see them winning their last 2 games. Leeds are playing well and have fight in them ans are getting points, and even vs City they gave it a go, and the scoreline did flatter City in the end.

The other two clubs have closed the gap that's all the evidence required

Did Leeds beat man united Chelsea and draw with Leicester?

I see Leeds getting at least another 6 points and Burnley the same, giving them both 40 points.

Everton aren't as resurgent as some think, the results you cited were all at home, but their away form has been horrific. Even if they win their home games it only gives them 38 points which may not be enough. If they want to stay up theyve got to get points away from home which is a big challenge.
