After the news that Leeds takeover is off I can see Neil Warnock being the first to go. He will either walk after broken promises or he will have a go at Ken Bates and get pushed After the managerial merry go round here under Mandaric everyone is going to expect the same from the owners who in fairness to them have only sacked Sven since they have been here and they had every reason to do it. I think Nigel will get time aslong as we are going in the right direction. Steve Kean has had the Blackburn fans protesting about him for a year now so could Venkys finally listen to them and push him? Wolves have brought in an unknown manager in Stale Solbakken and he may prove to be out of his depth Malky Mackay did a good job last season after losing alot of decent players but this time around he is being backed better finacially and the owners have ambitions so a slow start could see him pushed Paul Jewell has admitted he has made alot of mistakes as Ipswich manager and if he makes another average start to the season their owner could want to change Sean O'Driscoll was a strange choice after the noises the new Forest owners was making so a slow start could see them chase the "iconic" manager they was after to start with There will be alot of expectation put on Steve Bruce from the Hull owners after they have backed him. After the Hull owners spent a decent sum of money they will want to a see a return on their investment So they are the main candidates but my money is on Warnock
The most overrated and under achieving manager to be sacked first - Paul Jewell. Done nowt since his Wigan days
Wouldn't be surprised with Warnock, Pearson and Jewell to have all gone by the end of the season. You should change it to 'no longer be in his current place' like the bookies do, as Warnock is far more likely to walk than he is to actually get the sack.
One thing I will say if Hull fans who are going to vote genuinely feel Nigel will be the first then vote for him but dont vote for him because you dont like him or because he manages us
Bruce has only bought one player, he's hardly spent a fortune, Pearson spent much more when he was with us(though we may not be finished yet). I've gone Jewell as the most likely to be sacked, but I think there's a reasonable chance that Colin will walk first.
Paul Jewell 4/1 favourite, Eddie howe at 6/1, Nigel Pearson and Darren Ferguson 10/1 then Steve Kean 12/1!! Warnock is 16/1 and Steve Bruce 20/1, all odds are on Stan James if anybody is interested.
jewell for me forgot about Eddie Howe think the fans could turn against him quick if they dont start well
Have they bought anyone yet ? I think burnley fans had high hopes for last season and won't stand for another lack lustre one
Luke O'Neill, Jason Shackell, Sam Vokes, Joseph Mills, They lost Jay Rodriguez but i think they should be fine
It costs money to sack the manager, so Mr Warnock is safe. I reckon he'll walk away before Christmas though.
So we're favourites for promotion but Pearson is third favorite for the sack? Looks like the bookies are covering all bases as far as we're concerned!
