Anyone see Sabine Lisicki play tonight? She was absolutely superb and deserved her win vs the number 3 seed (Li Na). Of course (apologies for my self indulgence here!). If you check back to my post on the 13th June entitled 'Sabine Lisicki' you will see I tipped her to do well. I said at the time, "I doubt she will win Wimbledon, but it wouldn't surprise me if, with a decent draw, she had a good run. And the top seeds won't want to face her in the early rounds thats for sure". Li Na certainly did not enjoy facing here. You heard it here first....! The thing is though I didn't have enough bottle to put any money on her winning today. Serves me right I guess,,,,! Ok. Enough of the self indulgence. Going back to Lisicki. Outside chance of Sabine winning Wimbledon now perhaps? She has has a strong powerful game. Perfect for grass court tennis. Before the tournament started you could get 40/1 on Lisicki winning Wimbledon. I doubt that 40/1 will be on offer now though...
