Why is pappa scrooge trying to distance himself from Mick MaCarthy who is a proven manager at this level and someone who would provide an instant tonic to the drivel we have had to endure for the last 4 months ? Surely he would at least be considered on the shortlist for potential candidates ? Why is he being shut down but Redfern is seriously being considered for the position ? Evenmore frustrating is the fact that we are just outside the playoffs and usually when a new capable manager is appointed, a team 'ups' their game to try and impress him to stake their place in the team but we aren't even contacting the people who can get us up. I seriously think that we haven't interviewed anyone yet and that the next appointment is going to be a sideways move. Warnock or MaCarthy for me......
