According to Sky Sports Sir Alex is thinking about loaning Ryan on loan to get first team experience and we are apparently one of several clubs willing to take him on loan.

Do you think he'd do good for us if he joined?

We've already got Koren, Meyler, Quinn, Evans & Cairney completing for three central midfield places, we don't need anyone else.

Sky have just put 2 and 2 together and come up with 5.

Where fine at centre half and where fine centre midfield. Infact we're looking at off loading midfielders.

Hang on, if McKenna and Oli leave in Jan and Koren is still being used as a make shift striker that would only leave us Cairney as back up.
Could make sense to get this kid in if we know the other two are defo going out on loan or whatever.

We'll never get rid of Oli, we've been trying for years.

McKenna will do a good job for a lower league team.
I'm sure he would be able to leave on a free.

In the summer at the latest. When his contract runs out. At least he can say he has won a PL promotion on his CV.

Would be a good signing for one of the league one promote clubs. Doncaster or Sheffield Utd maybe ?

As much as I rate Tunnicliffe we don't need him at the moment.

Tunnicliffe looks to be more physical than anything we have in midfield and he protects the back four( or three in our case) excellently but he doesn't score goals. Evans is growing in stature game by game and Meyler is a great player.

Unless SB sees Evans or Meyler running out of steam I can't see where he'd play and I can't see SAF letting him go anywhere to warm the bench.

    Centre forward please.

The only way I could see us getting Tunnicliffe is IF Paul Mckenna is on his way this month. We need someone of that ilk in the squad for what lays ahead

I'm going to contradict myself here.

As the games come thick and fast as the business end approaches Tunnicliffe could be exactly what we need.

I'd go with Evans and Meyler every day of the week as the two central midfielders with proper defensive duties but Tunnicliffe would be ideal to rotate in that position.

Far better than Cairney, Oli or even McKenna and he'll be fresh as a daisy.

    Makes perfect sense to me.

Can't see Fergie letting him come out on loan to spend the majority of his time sat on a bench.
He'll go somewhere and play games.
    Ipswich maybe?? Wolves??

Tunnicliffe is a bit like Meyler, workhorse with a great engine, tough tackling player. He's all over the pitch winning balls, he's going to be a fine player one day.

I'd take him in a shot

    I agree totally.

Thing is it would be extremely harsh to drop Evans or Meyler, unthinkable even, and SAF isn't going to loan him out on the off chance he might get the odd game.

This boy will play for England within three years IMO, if he fulfils his potential.
Excellent on the ball, really puts himself about and is a unit.

Reminds me very much of a larger version of David Batty.

He's a bit of a handful off the pitch as well so maybe Fergs will only loan him out to someone he trusts will keep a close eye on him and be strong enough to deal with the rascal.

I love it when a plan comes together.
