He's been operated on. First Team Physiotherapist Chris Hanson said: "Obviously Ryan’s been missing since sustaining a rupture to his left hamstring which needed to be operated on. The procedure was successful and we expect a period of rehabilitation of up to three months, which we are already two weeks into."
Wonder if the new coach will look at Hyndman, LVC to take his place. More likely to be Parker, but is he too much like O'Hara. Not sure how long Mattila is out (as we don't get the feed back any more) but he could be an option with O'Hara moving into a more attacking role.
Agree about Parker and O'Hara being too alike and neither quite has the legs anymore. Gray seems to prefer 4-4-2 so the young legs of both LVC and Hyndman in the middle with O'Hara might be what we see. Just on Parker. I think even he accepts he's going to be a bit player this season. With Wigley joining Gray on the first team bench, Parker may spend most of his time coaching the youngsters.
The 2 young uns have got to be played. It's not rocket science! Refering to the ineptitude of the Fulham coaching staff not you C58 and SBM.
,Having doubted Tunniclffe at the first few outings, his performances this season have been strong so we miss him. Bristol away was a great example. With him not being available 2 quandries were highlighted to me on Saturday: a) three strong left footed players - but it did not quite work; b) O'Hara and Parker in the same team is a challange - it sort of only works with a diamond (but let's not go there). And just to compound it, OHara was my [outfield] MOTM on Saturday. My target midfield is built around Cairney, LVC (once match-fit), Tunnicliffe, (based on Stoke) Matilla, and O'Hara. Recover quickly Ryan!!!!
