Just after a feeling from everyone else on this one, if Ryan Noble was our only fit striking option, what on earth was he doing playing for the youth team on Tuesday? I can't belive the stupidity of it, will the club never learn...he should have been wrapped in cotton wool and protected for Saturday, unless they weren't intending to play him anyway? That said it will probably see Sass played in his favoured central attacking role, rather than out of position and actually give Muntari people to pass to, as he did brilliantly on Saturday. I still think they may just turn Fulham over by the odd goal. Funny way to manage a squad though...
I think that we are protecting Noble for the future. It is a big ask to throw a young lad into a sole striker role in the premier league, and could knock his confidence if he didn't do well. Also, Bruce has decided that we are safe after last weekend's results, and probably wants to look at Sess playing in a forward role for the rest of the season.
