This Lightweight thing is bollocks - you don't need bulk as long as you can handle yourself and he put hijmself about when he played for us.

TGhe lad blatantly knows where the goal is and I have watched him quite closely - hope he makes it personally but MON and Bruce have both had obvious reservations about something

There are question marks over attitude? But the Hartlepool coach and Kevin Ball say he is a great lad who works his socks off. I don't get why Bruce in particular didn't play him when we couldn't buy a goal.

I'd play him over Wickham, Ji and Campbell as he is a goalscorer.

For me he should be on our bench getting a game here and there and building his EPL awareness, not playing 3rd rate games way below his ability.

With the chimp chokers manager going the journey maybe he will be sent back to us, at present we could do with something different up top maybe take over from Sess for a couple of games?

Well we don't have many players capable of scoring a goal like that, and he scored a peach in pre-season where he left three for dead and smashed the ball in. I really hope the lad gets a fair chance and I agree with Cest he should be ahead of Ji at least in the pecking order.

That's a great strike - awareness with his back to goal and a great swivel and hit. That's technique and there's probably not too many players in our current squad that could match that...

I want to see Noble and Wickham especially given a fair chance. Impossible when we've got Fletch and Saha and only play one striker - for me, the answer is Sess on the wing (where he played his best football for PSG), two strikers up top, and Jimmy McClean on the bench for a bit. Not offered enough progress since his initial burst into the team for me.

    that's a superb goal.

he's proven himself a poacher, and his raw pace (as seen when he won the pen) would be an asset in the first team, but the audacity, confidence and technique for that goal says to me he could offer us something different. i'd love to see him and wickham make it for us, and he's got to be better than ji or campbell surely?
