Footballers are just people - they're not perfect and make mistakes just like the rest of us. A sad state of affairs but it's a private matter between the family really.
Saying sorry ( and meaning it ) goes a long way ,perhaps he doesn't feel he's done anything wrong . Although I bet his father would be nervous about giggs meeting his new wife so perhaps it's for the best .

Giggs was getting injured playing to much club football , club football in Europe , domestic cup games and on top of that , international games for Wales . Dont blame him for protecting his ability to EARN for his livelihood under a greulling Man U schedule over many years and giving Wales less priorty , anyone would I suspect

it was an awful thing that he did, and even worse that he didn't apologise for it. but no-one is an angel, VRD what have you done in your life that that would lead someone somewhere to label you a piece of 'scum'?
Regardless whether he's the greatest ( very debatable and not a title I agree with ) his lack of basic decency wipes out any regard I had for the man .What a role model he turned out to be , the question isn't about my or any other posters ethics but his and he failed the test .
