Not sure if someone has already posted this but just seen we have recalled Ryan Dickson from his loan at Yeovil? One can't help thinking maybe Nigel has finally seen what most of the rest of us have and that Dan Harding is not up to it!!!!

Think it was only a months loan anyway, so don't think it was a recall. I do wish Adkins would play him more though.

It's just the end of his loan, not a recall - he went on a months loan around the 5th january so it would be ending about now

A statement from Yeovil said: "His loan deal has ended due to the player wanting to remain at one club for the rest of the season. However, under loan rules, the maximum duration that the Glovers could keep Ryan for was a further 60 days."

Sounds to me that he is going out on loan to another club for the rest of the season, which he wouldnt have been able to do at Yeovil - the echos headline made me laugh though - no where did it say he had been recalled? but if he has been recalled, I would imagine it is for another loan taking him to the end of the season, as hinted at in the statement

There is just no room for him at Saints anymore with Fox and Harding covering left back and there is more chance of hell freezing over of Dickson getting ahead of Lallana, Falque, De Ridder to play on the left side of midfield.

Think Dickson suffered from our success..we're outgrowing some players and sometimes the timing is just wrong for you. Good luck to him.

Yep. Good player. Feel a wee bit sorry for him because he has never really let Saints down, but there are always a couple of people ahead of him. Certainly Yeovil really wanted him back because he played very well for them, and he wanted to stay as well.

Cant knock the guy just for the sake of it which is what happens a lot he did a good job when called upon but perhaps limited if we are looking upwards but he will end up somewhere where his talent can be put to good use
