He was on the radio the other night, in which, for no apparent reason other than pure self promotion, he just randomly declared "yuuuuuhhhh knowwww, I just think he's not a happy bunny", that "he's maybe been promised things that aren't happening", and posturing "has he got a groin injury or has his lip hit the floor?"... The main guy was half taking the piss out of the idiot, asking him why he thought that, and Mark had no other offering besides his intuition... <doh>

Robbie Savage then butted in and said "actually I had dinner with him the other day and he said he was injured, and he seemed content at United".

People who print this s*** in papers should be sacked. It's worse than the horoscopes!

I think most fans would fall asleep half way through anything Lawrenson has to say.

    Aye this story is BS.
At least it is for now, when United fail to qualify for the Champions League at the end of this season it will be a different story...but hey...we can wait. <whistle>

All tittle tattle but good fun.

    From the busby babes website:

The problem is this isn't entirely out of the blue - rumours have been around for a while that Van Persie is unhappy at Manchester United. One claim that went oddly unheralded was recently repeated in the Independent - that Alex Feruguson had promised the Dutchman that he would be at the club for at least another three years and had to apologise after retiring.

That could be one reason behind the move, although there have also been rumblings that Van Persie is unhappy with David Moyes' coaching methods. Despite all that, there is not yet any concrete suggestion that his current injury is anything but genuine.

Really, this is someone repeating existing rumours rather than any new information. But that doesn't mean we should dismiss the whole notion entirely. One to keep an eye on for now.
