Did anyone else feel some slight tremors last night about 10.40 (and I mean the earth really moving, not other things). Was downstairs in the kitchen after getting back from the match when heard some repeated noises which sounded like someone trying the back gate, got up to check but nothing to be seen and nothing else happened. Emailed British Geological Survey tonight to let them know.
It's from the same site that TOM linked. http://www.earthquakes.bgs.ac.uk/earthquakes/recent_uk_events.html
Would have felt it if I was at home. I live probably 30/40ish miles from there as the crow flies. But I'm not at home.
I live in Rutland and a friend said it was pretty hairy. I was at the football though. It's about the 4th or 5th time it's happened in 2015.
I hope the "county" disappears in a ****ing sink hole. Had a right barny with the registrar in Oakham when my youngest was born. Where's the fathers place of birth? Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire Sorry, I'll have to put N Humberside, there's no such place... Scuse me? Yes it does (it frigging did then too) No, no it doesn't. If she wants to check on her fathers birth place in the future, this needs to be correct. First of all love, she'll frigging KNOW where I was born, and that's in the East Riding, and secondly it DOES bloody exist. Unless you happen to think we're currently in Leicestershire of course and not Rutland... She mumbled a bit, then put it down correctly. Bitch.
I felt a good size one a couple years back I went out afterwards to see if my Harley had fallen over. I dont find them scary at all even though some people get really freaked out by them.
I'm not surprised. You laugh in the face of bears. You just yawn at huge fires. A bit of earth shaking won't phase you.
