Ex - Norwich midfielder Darrell Russell will not be playing for Preston against Norwich tomorrow as he has not been named in the Preston squad. He was on Radio Norfolk this morning and was disappointed not to be playing against his former club, and battling against Holty and Wes. (No Contest - Holty and Wes would win every time!)

glad he's not playing, thats one less "old boy" who could score against us. fancy the same line up and a comprehensive win,at least 3-0.

Well, until I see some sort of research paper on it, I won't believe its unfounded! It'd be interesting to see how many players have played their old side and scored first time, and those who haven't. (And maybe include Keepers keeping a clean sheet). Its too hard to analyse, but surely in many cases players come back feeling they have to prove themselves?
