    Thought he was brilliant tonight (again). He looked poor at RB against Wigan, but these last games at CB he looks like a natural CB. It's strange because I thought he wasn't big/strong enough and that what made him so good was his attacking from RB (Which he can't at CB) so to see him like this makes me wonder how is de Laet ever going to back into the team. Maybe he'll have to come in as LB or RB, although Tierney and Naughton will keep him out there too! Well I guess United will offer a much sterner test than an off colour Bolton/Sunderland although maybe not if they're without Rooney and Hernandez.

    Its no coincidence that since he came into CB we have won both.......... Masterstroke from Lambert and we now have a first choice 11<ok>

    the sky sports match report unhelpfully said pilkington made a storming run into the box for the second goal when it was Russell! <doh>

    Yeah that was a hell of a run, you wouldn't expect it from a CB to be fair to SS though!
